Easy to assemble. The tracks are plastic, a little fragile so make sure they are attached well so that the train and wagons don’t fall off the tracks. The assembly is pretty straightforward: insert AA batteries on the train as instructed, attach all rails, link all cars/wagons and that’s it. The box did not come with instructions so you can look it up online by searching for the train’s model. The box comes with a tiny plastic bottle so you can put vegetable oil to produce steam. I haven’t done it yet but reading all other reviews you get the idea. Make sure train and cars are well positioned within the tracks otherwise they’ll stumble or fall but after trial and error you can get it to work correctly. I love the look and feel of this train, it’s like classic old school train. When you turn on the main engine, you’ll hear some sounds before it actually starts to move. The sounds are pretty real and similar to a real life train. My toddler boy loves it! It makes a great gift too.

fácil montaje pero sin instrucciones . el cable que va de la máquina de vapor al vagón de las pilas( el de carbón) estaba casi suelto y hacia falso contacto. tras una reparación vuelve a funcionar. hemos puesto aceite vegetal siguiendo comentario de otros usuarios. probaremos con el líquido de un motor de niebla a ver si sale algo más.

Un bellissimo treno con fumo e suono ,l'ho provato subito ,poi monterò le rotaie complete . Molto bello tutto il paesaggio con la stazione ,le case e le persone . con la galleria gli alberi e i segnali . Completo di accessori ,cacciavite e blocca unioni tra rotaie . E' imballato in espanso ,se non si sbriciola lo con la scatola per riporre il treno . Treno molto lungo con tante carrozze . Funziona con 4 buone batterie . Consiglio vivamente l'acquisto a tutti .
